This week Year 5 visited the Bank of England Museum and took part in a workshop all about money. We learnt all about where and how money is made and the different security features that money has to make sure people do not replicate it. Did you know that the Bank of England destroys millions of pounds of fraudulent notes every day? We had lots of fun learning about how we can tell a fake note from a real note and then enjoyed walking around the museum learning more about the Bank of England. We even got to lift up a real gold bar!
