Has Osmani Got Talent? Yes, We Have!!

Something very special was happening in Osmani’s school gym this morning… It was our annual talent show, “Osmani’s Got Talent”. And what a lot of exceptionally talented students we are lucky to have in our school!

The show was a delightful mix of singing, dancing and playing, not to mention some seriously breath-taking gymnastics! From Nursery’s adorable dance to “I Like to Move it Move it” to the stunning singing of “Superhero” by Connor , the audience was captivated by each year group’s impressive offering.

We were happy to welcome lots of parents who had come to cheer on their children. Presenters Umar and Saima kept the audience in stitches with their jokes, while judges, Denise, Lucy, Asma and Sara, had the challenging job of choosing winners from each Key Stage.

Really, though, every child who took part was a winner because of the way they demonstrated their growth mindset and watching them was a lesson in how to fully exercise the right to develop our potential, talents and abilities. A big thank you to all the parents who kindly joined us and a massive well done to all of the superhero students who took part! You really do have talent!

Year 5 at the Science Museum

Our Topic for this half term has been ‘Out of this World’ and as part of it we have been looking into what planets make up our solar system and projects that have taken place in the past and present to send humans into space. We had lots of fun at the Science Museum where we got to see real life rockets and astronaut costumes! We found out lots of information about what it takes for one person to go into space and how scientists continue to search for Extra Terrestrial life in space.
