Nursery Visit Spitalfields Farm

On Thursday 15th March, Nursery visited Spitalfields City Farm.

We were all very excited to learn about the different animals. We talked about where they live and how it was similar or different to where we live.

At the farm we saw sheep, goats, donkeys, ducks, chickens, pigs and some rabbits! We even saw some guinea pigs – they were so cute! We also talked about what sounds we could hear in the animals names so we could have a go at writing them when we got back to our class.

Lots of our parents were able to join us on our trip and they helped us to talk about what we could see, hear and how it made us feel. We all really enjoyed the trip and as always, we would like to thank our parent volunteers for their help and support.

Have a look at some of the pictures we took at the farm!
