The Rights Respecting Ambassadors from Year 3-6 took part in the annual Pupil Parliament at Norton Rose Fulbright.
The children were joined by 6 other schools in the local area:
- Thomas Buxton
- Canon Barnett
- Stewart Headlam
- Kobi Nazrul
- William Davis
During Pupil Parliament, the ambassadors were given the opportunity to ask questions to a panel, including Rushanara Ali- the MP of Bethnal Green and Bow, about topics that were important to them. The three topics were:
- Crime and Anti-social behaviour
- The Environment
- Human Rights and Equality
We then came up with an action plan and presented them to the whole room. There were about 100 people in total! At Osmani, we are going to put some of these plans into action and make small changes to help improve some of the issues that were discussed.
