Narconon Drug Prevention & Education – Y6 Workshop

On Monday 11th March, Narconon Drug Prevention & Education visited our school to work with our Year 6 children in a workshop related to drug awareness.

Narconon Drug Prevention and Education, have been delivering “The Truth About Drugs” sessions for primary and secondary schools in the UK since 1986.

Their 1-hour workshop was informative, effective and delivered with an acceptance level for the children to understand.

Art Day in Year 6

Art Day in Year 6 was all about our topic ‘Codebreakers’. We started with practicing some drawing techniques that can help us create intricate and repetitive patterns. After that, we explored photographs of various historical coding machines (for example the Enigma machine). Inspired by the codebreaking  history, we created our own individual collages. Finally, we worked in groups and designed and made original coding machines with different functions. When we finished, we presented our work to the rest of the class. Thank you Bow Arts for a creative and engaging day!
