On Wednesday, 5th June 2019, Year 6 visited the Houses of Parliament. We had a chance to see the Westminster Hall, Central Lobby, the Lords Chamber in the House of Lords and the Commons Chamber in the House of Commons. We learnt about the history of the building and how the country is being governed. Since it was a sunny day, we finished our trip playing in the park nearby.
On Wednesday 22nd May, Year 6 had the best time on their end-of-year trip to Chessington World Of Adventures. It was amazing! The weather was perfect; the rides were stomach-churning and the laughter was never-ending. We did not want to leave, but unfortunately we had to.
On Thursday, we reminded ourselves of our adventure and wrote some pretty thrilling recounts of the Vampire Ride. What a treat for all the hard work this year!
