Chessington World Of Adventures and Y6.

On Wednesday 22nd May, Year 6 had the best time on their end-of-year trip to Chessington World Of Adventures. It was amazing! The weather was perfect; the rides were stomach-churning and the laughter was never-ending.  We did not want to leave, but unfortunately we had to.

On Thursday, we reminded ourselves of our adventure and wrote some pretty thrilling recounts of the Vampire Ride. What a treat for all the hard work this year!

Art Day in Year 6

Art Day in Year 6 was all about our topic ‘Codebreakers’. We started with practicing some drawing techniques that can help us create intricate and repetitive patterns. After that, we explored photographs of various historical coding machines (for example the Enigma machine). Inspired by the codebreaking  history, we created our own individual collages. Finally, we worked in groups and designed and made original coding machines with different functions. When we finished, we presented our work to the rest of the class. Thank you Bow Arts for a creative and engaging day!
