Wonderful Wrappers

In DT, Year 4 Amber designed their own chocolate wrappers. The children looked at existing chocolate bars and thought about what made them appealing to the customer. They agreed that having a bold and eye-catching wrapper was important. They also thought of short interesting names for our chocolate. These are some of our wrapper designs. Do you think they are effective?  Click here to view the wrappers.

Year 4 Saffron made these delicious chocolates as part of their topic work.  Click here to view the amazing chocolates.

British Sign Language

We were so lucky to be taught some British Sign Language by Tracey Grant.  BSL is a visual means of communicating using gestures, facial expression, and body language. It is mainly used by people who are deaf or have hearing impairments.  Click here to view some images.

Sound Experiments

Children had a great time learning about how sound travels through a telephone investigation.  Click here for images.

Iron Man Stories

In Year 4 Amber, we read 'The Iron Man' and wrote our own versions. We generated a range of interesting vocabulary before putting them into exciting sentences. We edited and published our work on the Chrome books. We are really proud of the writing we have produced.

Have a read and see if you can spot any sentence types you have worked on in your class.  Click here.
