Admission to the Nursery

The school admits children using the admission criteria and guidelines agreed by London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

At Osmani, we offer part-time Nursery places. However, we will offer a full-time place if you meet the national criteria.    We have one admission point in the year – i.e the autumn term. Children born in an admission year e.g children born between 1st September and 31st August are staggered in, between September to November, where the oldest children in the cohort for that year start first.

Most nursery aged children start school in our Nursery after their third birthday. Children starting Nursery will usually be visited at home by members of the Early Years team before admission and will be invited for Parent-Toddler sessions in the summer term.

Pupils admitted to the school will need to complete a starter pack, adhere to a code of conduct, and sign a home-school agreement. Parents are also expected to adhere to all school policies.

Please note that a place in the Nursery does not guarantee a place in the Reception class.
