This October Osmani have been celebrating Black History Month. We have been looking at the positive contributions that black people have made to our society by looking at the work of black inventors such as Garrett Morgan who invented the traffic light and Mary Seacole a half Jamaican half Scottish nurse that worked during the Crimean war.
We were also visited by two special guests, Chief Chebbe and Sammi who put on a special assembly which gave us the opportunity to look at life in Africa. We also had the pleasure of taking part in music and dancing from their country.
